Govt. College for Women, Begumpet, Hyderabad was established in 1971, affiliated to Osmania University to cater to the needs of the Girl-students of the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The City of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh is a Hi-Tech City. The college is situated in a strategic location, in the heart of the city, on the high way to the International Airport.
